Method
- Wash the jars well and put them in a pot, lids too, with cold water.
- Bring the water to boil slowly (so that the jars do not break) and let them boil for about 2-3 minutes.
- Lay a large absorbent cotton towel on the counter.
- Using the handle of a large wooden spoon, take them out of the pot, tilting them carefully so that the hot water leaves, and transfer them to the towel.
- Remove the pads with a clean tweezers and transfer them to the towel.
- Do not wipe them but let them dry on their own.
