Meat mix with peppers and cheese

Ingredients

  • 800gr pork (soft part – cut into cubes)
  • 800gr beef (soft part – cut into cubes)
  • 4-5 colored peppers into strips
  • 500gr yellow cheese, grated in the coarse part of the grater
  • salt and pepper

Method

  1. In a bowl add the meat, salt and pepper and stir (be careful because cheese is salted).
  2. Add the peppers and cheese and stir again gently.
  3. Empty the content of the bowl into a pyrex and press lightly with your hand to go over the surface.
  4. Cover with foil, pierce in several places so the air can leaves and bake at 200oC for almost 1h.
  5. Remove the foil and leave it in the oven a little longer to golden brown and leave some of its liquid (if it has).
Tips:

Best served hot with white rice.
