Ingredients
500gr all purpose flour
500gr lukewarm water
½ tsp salt
1 tsp sugar
15gr dry yeast
olive oil or sunflower oil for frying
Method
In a bowl, add the lukewarm water and dissolve the yeast.
Add the remaining ingredients and mix well to make a watery dough, without lumps and leave at room temperature to rise.
In a deep fryer add olive oil to heat up quite well and with the help of a spoon take a some of the dough and add it to the pan.
Fry them for a while until they get golden brown.
Leave them on a kitchen paper to remove the excess oil.
Serve them warm with honey and some cinnamon (powder) on top.
